Hello, Paulino

If you’re referring to where you need to transfer the money to pay the loan, we recommend that you speak directly with the lender to see what payment methods they have available.

Some lenders may have this information on their website in a section like “How to Pay Your Loan” or something similar. Other lenders might have the information in your client portal, so you have to sign in and find a section called something like “Pay My Loan”.

If you can’t find it either way, it’s a good idea to contact the lender through customer service and ask them to provide the payment details.

If your question was more about strategies to pay off the loan, here are some recommendations:

  • Before you request it, see if you’ll be able to pay the full amount by its due date. To know how much you can afford to pay in a month, take your salary and subtract your fixed expenses (rent, groceries, utilities, transportation, etc.). The resulting amount is the extra money you can use to pay your debt. It should be the same or higher than the amount you have to pay in that particular month.

  • Once you receive the loan, prioritize paying the debt as soon as possible, so try not to spend the extra money on anything else. Also, try not to request any more loans.

  • If you’re going to miss a payment due date for whatever reason, contact the lender to request an extension. This will save you late fees or higher interest rates.

We hope this helps.

Best,
